Yoga
workshops and retreats are a time to deepen your yoga practice. Below is
the summer 2010 schedule of workshops and retreats at Four Directions
Yoga.
Workshops & Retreats:
October 1 – 3: Kundalini Aquarian Retreat: at the Vedic
Arogaya Mandir in Beaverton ON. Enjoy early morning Sadhana
practice, Kundalini yoga classes and meditation practice. Food is
vegetarian and in the Kundalini yogic tradition, accommodation is
comfortable and restful. Teacher: Paola di Paolo. Cost: $355
(includes taxes)
October 17th: Hatha Yoga and Yogic Philosophy – a look at
Patanjali’s 8-fold path as it applies to our practice of yoga.
Explore postures, our responses to postures through the principles
of non-violence, contentment, mindfulness. Teacher: Paola di Paolo.
Cost: $45. Included in unlimited classes and workshop packages.
Time: 10am – 1pm
November 14th: Kundalini Yoga for Self-Empowerment. Kundalini
yoga can be energizing as well as centering. This practice can
empower your deepest self and help you live from your soul. Teacher:
Paola di Paolo. Cost $45. Included in unlimited classes and workshop
practices. Suitable for all levels of practice. Time: !0am – 1pm
Teacher Training: Hatha Yoga Teacher Training and Enrichment:
Start date August 28th 2010. See Paola for information and
application. Pre-requisites of commitment to classes at the studio
as well as personal home practice. This program is suitable for
those interested in teaching yoga as taught at Four Directions Yoga
Studio, or for those interested in deepening their experience of
yoga. 335 hours of professional training. Registered with the Yoga
Alliance. Cost: $2850 installment payments are possible.

CLASS STYLES:
Hatha Yoga classes - traditional yoga postures and breathing
techniques to increase strength, toning, flexibility, improve
concentration, relieve stress, and to relax.
Kundalini - a dynamic system of yoga using breathing, mantra,
mudras, and movement to ground and release energy.
Gentle Yoga Class – this special class brings you gentle
stretches and relaxation. It is created for people with pain issues,
injuries, or those who would enjoy time for gentle stretches and guided
relaxation.
Personal Training class – a fun group class of weight training,
