Yoga workshops and retreats are a time to deepen your yoga practice. Below is the Spring 2008 schedule of workshops and retreats at Four Directions Yoga.

WORKSHOPS & RETREATS

WORKSHOPS
Sunday September 21st Renew yourself with Hatha Yoga and Meditation. In this workshop we will practice hatha yoga and meditation to ground and centre ourselves. Time will also be given to discussing how to bring this practice into your home life. Time: 10am – 1pm. Cost: $45. Included in unlimited memberships.

Sunday November 16th Hatha Yoga and Meditation Workshop. Take time to explore your own experience of the postures through meditation, grounding yourself and releasing into the postures with your breath. Cost: $45, included in unlimited membership. Time: 10am – 1pm

Kundalini Yoga Sadhana – early morning yoga and meditation. Starting in October – please check website and/or flyers.


RETREATS

Sept 5 - 7th Kundalini Yoga Retreat at Tanglefoot – Aquarian Sadhana Retreat - with Paola di Paolo near Lakefield, ON. Enjoy the uplifting and spiritual practice of Kundalini yoga and meditation. Practice Kundalini yoga and meditation, build community through cooking delicious Kundalini yoga food together. Sauna, and hot tub are available. Accommodation is shared and food is vegetarian. Cost: $325. Space is limited, please pre-register and pay prior to August 21st

October 24 – 26th Hatha Yoga and Meditation Retreat at Tanglefoot Lodge - with Paola di Paolo near Lakefield, ON. Practice sitting meditation and hatha yoga classes. Sauna, and hot tub are available. Accommodation: private and semi-private. Food is vegetarian. Cost: Semi-Private: $325, Private: $425.


OUT OF TOWN WORKSHOPS:

Fall Hatha Yoga Intensive – Weekend in the City: Deepen your practice of yoga and meditation. Explore the relationship between meditation, yoga practice and your own personal edge. KUNDALINI YOGA FOR ENERGY
TEACHER TRAINING

CLASS STYLES:

Hatha Yoga classes - traditional yoga postures and breathing techniques to increase strength, toning, flexibility, improve concentration, relieve stress, and to relax.

Kundalini - a dynamic system of yoga using breathing, mantra, mudras, and movement to ground and release energy.

Gentle Yoga Class – this special class brings you gentle stretches and relaxation. It is created for people with pain issues, injuries, or those who would enjoy time for gentle stretches and guided relaxation.
