Four
Directions Yoga Studio offers you the space and time to reconnect to
yourself through yoga. We at the corner of the Queensway South and Henry
street in August 2001.
We teach 2
methods of yoga at Four Directions Yoga - Hatha yoga based on the work
of Vanda Scaravelli and Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan.

BIOGRAPHIES
Paola di
Paolo:
Paola di
Paolo is a certified yoga instructor. Paola began taking yoga classes
during the early 80's while attending the University of Toronto. She has
studied Iyengar yoga, Scaravelli yoga with Esther Myers, and Kundalini
Yoga with Hari Darshan Singh Khalsa. Paola is certified through Esther
Myers' Yoga Studio (Toronto), by FOYT (Federation of Ontario Yoga
Teachers), and is registered by the Yoga Alliance for having completed
500 hours of training. She currently studies and upgrades her knowledge
through attending Hatha and Kundalini yoga classes, workshops and
retreats. Paola is interested in helping students experience greater
freedom of movement, sense of inner well-being, and a greater sense of
personal energy through yoga. "It is a joy, an honour and an
inspiration to teach yoga. I am deeply grateful to all of my
students."
Stephen
Bishop:
Stephen Bishop has studied yoga since 2002 and received his
certification as a Kundalini Yoga teacher in 2005. He has an deep
interest in self healing through the movement of energy and the breath.
Stephen finds Kundalini Yoga particularly helpful for general well
being, meditation, and energy release. He enjoys sharing his experiences
with students. He also studies and practices Qi Gong and Vipassana
meditation.
Elaine
Jackson:
Elaine is a long time
student of yoga, and a graduate of
the Esther Myers Teacher Training
Program. She comes to the practice with a background in Occupational
Therapy, and is interested in the therapeutic
benefits of yoga. She is
also an avid cyclist and writer, and is
currently enrolled in the
Creative Writing Program at York University.
Elan Boyd:
Elan has been studying yoga since 2001 and is currently finishing her 2nd
year of Teacher Training with Esther Myers Yoga Studio in Toronto. Upon
completion of the course she will have completed over 500 hours of training.
She enjoys attending workshops and retreats to further extend her knowledge
and experience of the benefits of yoga. Being the mother to two athletic
boys she particularly enjoys focusing on the non-competitive nature of a
yoga practice in her teachings to children, teens and adults.
